"Blue Star Series-23(30x40x3.2cm)" Painting

Chen Mo Chen Mo (Chen Xiaowu) graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in China. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing from 2013 to 2014 and is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. He now lives and works in Beijing, China. Looking up at the starry sky, the height of human beings must be the heavenly palace as far as the eye can see. I believe that the interesting souls of every era will stay there to illuminate the future for their descendants. Those interesting souls that ushered in industrial civilization were admired by future generations. The light of the Victorian era has traveled through centuries and inspired generations. I hope to use the new perspective of art to construct an image shape to show the interesting soul that was active in that era. In the real world, we can't see the human soul. We can only feel its existence and some characteristics in human social activities. What is a soul? I subjectively believe that the soul is a synthesis of the innate definition of individual life given by God and the result of the interaction of the relative social environment in the process of occipital life. The formation of the soul is manifested as the superposition of countless choices in the process of life growth. You can observe the projection of the soul on those selected objects. After years of thinking and artistic experiments, a formal shape gradually emerged. The Blue Star series of works is constructed in an accretion method on the basis of comprehensive thinking. It is the result of my repeated experiments of a relatively clear concept. I hope that it gives people artistic feelings with sensibility and rationality. 仰望星空，人类的高远一定是在目之所及的天宫，我相信每个时代的有趣灵魂都会驻留在那里，为它们的后人照亮前路。拉开工业文明序幕的那些有趣的灵魂令后人敬仰，维多利亚时代之光穿越了几个世纪，激励了几代人。我希望用艺术的新视角建构一个意象的造型，来表现活跃在那个时代的有趣灵魂。 现实世界中我们看不到人的灵魂，只能在人类的社会活动中感受到它的存在和一些特征。什么是灵魂？我主观认为，灵魂是上帝先天赋予个体生命的定义与后天生命过程中相对社会环境互动结果的一个综合。灵魂的形成表现为生命成长过程中无数次选择的叠加。在那些被选择的具体物上你能观察到灵魂的投影。经过多年的思考和艺术实验，渐渐的一个充满形式感的造型显现出来。 蓝星系列作品就是在综上思考的基础上以吸积方式构建而成，它是我的一个较为明确的观念反复实验的结果，我希望它给人的艺术感受间具感性与理性。
