Blue is a portrait of our chocolate Labrador. I wanted to capture his unconditional love and protectiveness in this portrait. We named him Blue because when he was a puppy he had blue eyes and seemed shy and sad (Not the case--and we spoiled him rotten for it). Blue was the runt of the litter but has grown to be a beautiful, big, sweet boy. He is never sad or blue and he brightens our world everyday.

I am a multi-media artist from Oro Valley, Arizona. I graduated from Texas Woman's University in spring of 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. I also have a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. My art work is an ongoing exploration of life and the world which surrounds me. I have always been fascinated with finding new ways of depicting emotions and moods through my use of line, movement, and texture. Creating art work is like a puzzle that I am constantly trying to solve.
