About The Artwork

I love trains. I wanted to be a train engineer, but my career path was different. So, I paint trains instead of driving them. I positioned myself just north of the Portland Oregon train station, and captured the interesting tracks, switches, and passing freight train headed to Seattle. Tracks are hypnotic to me. They are a path to somewhere with a definite destination. They make wonderful patterns in the landscape. This painting is wired and ready for hanging.
