About The Artwork
I collected broken pieces of corals from Thailand trip. When I studied the structure of corals, I was very impressed by delicate and detailed structure and learned that corals are one entity. New corals grow on the top of old corals and protect each other from harsh environments. I felt it is the perfect metaphor of humanity, and I am able to talk about environmental issue poetically because corals are endangered species now, Hope the viewers feel and love beautiful oceanic movement and underwater, which will lead to a good cause for environmental issue. Smooth surface and layers of colors and detailed drawing of coral structures. Ready to hang with wire.
