Rob Fisher was born in Detroit, Michigan and currently resides and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BFA from Ringling School of Art, Sarasota, Florida, in 1996. His most recent solo exhibitions were These Are The People In Your Neighborhood at Brooklyn’s Jack the Pelican Presents (2009) and Dead Don’t Care at Pierogi Gallery (2003). Fisher has also shown his paintings in group exhibitions including Presto Magic at 308 at 156 selected by PPOW(2013), Dieu Donné (2007) and Marlborough Gallery (2006) in New York. He has shown internationally with Marlborough Galería (Madrid, Spain in 2005) and Viktoria Hoffman Gallery (Vienna, Austria, and Hanover, Germany, in 1996). His work is in various private collections located both nationally and abroad.
