About The Artwork
This original painting was made in Karlsruhe, Germany during a cold winter I spent there, in the art studio of a friend. So, I used all these warm colors to balance the outside temperature. This bride looks so brave and determined in my eyes. She is staring at the viewer in a magnetic way. But Who is the groom? This stayed secret and protected from public view, in the way we protect the most precious, holy parts of our lives. The painting is varnished with two layers of varnish, so that a gently cleaning with water is possible.
