About The Artwork
Near my house in DC is a walking trail in Rock Creek Park. There is an iconic bridge over the creek near the Smithsonian Zoo. The day I painted it, the sun through the treetops made a striking pattern of light and shadow on the surfaces of the bridge. This painting is a small 6"x8" piece. It is painted on Ampersand Gessoboard panel and comes unframed.
