About The Artwork

Female portrait mixing spray paint graffiti techniques and acrylic paint. You can almost feel the wind in the hair of this woman portrait. A few touches of fluorescent paint give a lot of dynamism to the painting. We can admire the painting differently under black light. From this portrait of a young woman, emanates a lot of sensuality. The colors, bring cheerfulness and modernity. The painting is carried out on an ultra glossy support, offering effects of depth and contrasts in the textures of paintings. No printing, everything is done by hand. Artwork signed and framed in a wooden frame.

Nathalie Cubéro is a French painter, living and working in Aix-en-Provence, France. Her work is based on several techniques inspired by urban art such as graffiti or stencil, but also academic techniques, like leaf gilding, in a special care to marry the opposites. Nathalie Cubéro is interested in the human being in all that is most secret and intimate, and depicts her characters in ambiguous situations, at the crossroads. Her protagonists find themselves face to face with the outside world, but especially with themselves, in an almost sudden detachment of the visible reality towards the non palpable. Something is happening, but the viewer must find the answers in his own emotions. Made of personal or fictitious stories, her paintings illustrate an insidious threat, an unrequited happiness, a silent gesture, as many situations turned towards the intimacy of each individual, thus titillating the imagination of the spectator.
