Painting: Acrylic, Charcoal, Marker on Canvas.
I've followed the history of the "New York School" gang of artists that catapulted Abstract Expressionism into the conciousness of American and European art collectors for a number of years now. I've seen numerous exhibitions by these artists and have always been amazed and inspired by their technique and uniqueness. When I finished this piece it reminded me of that period, particularly the women. It was the reason for the title. Sides painted black and varnished to protect against sunlight and dust. Signed on the back and ready to hang.
