About The Artwork
My grandma, Rose, loved butterflies. Her fridge was COVERED in colorful butterfly magnets. Growing up, she encouraged me to draw and color when I would visit her, and even had a designated work area for me. She noticed my talent before I ever did. She passed away July 4, 2009, and never knew I ended up becoming a professional artist in 2013. I drew her a butterfly drawing when she passed away, and buried it with her. This painting is fully dedicated to her! Gold and copper leaf scattered throughout.
