About The Artwork
Composition I Composition I was an award winning entry in the Painting section of the 80th & 81st Annual All India Painting Exhibition 2009 organized by AIFACS, New Delhi. Collective wisdom is a way to convince our mind about things incomprehensible, depending on the relativity of thoughts. (It sometimes silences the inner voice telling you something different.) Thus the conditioned mind pushes us after materialistic achievements. Very few listen to the inner voice and realize that the materialistic achievements are like the spherical object which can move in any direction and sometimes may even crush us. One who takes flight above the mundane will never be affected by the rolling ball. Thus the painting that is seemingly a simple composition of objects and colours is allegorical in nature.
