Cadence Painting

My craft is a meditative process for me, which keeps evolving as I wander through creative frustration, metamorphosis and self-discovery. My work celebrates the music of this universe and the energy through which we are all connected. The rhythm that I try to generate in my art is meant to reflect influences and awareness in our inner and outer worlds. We are what we are because of our experiences, evolutions and mysteries of the universe. We can break it to micro or macro but there’s always a flow to it. Everything is energy - involved in a dance, always changing but never terminating. I start with a blank canvas and a new dawn. Then I start experimenting with pools of colors and layers. Once I am fully absorbed in the canvas, the rhythm starts to follow and the fragments start to piece together. The flow in my art symbolizes that we are never isolated. We always are connected to everything around us even though we might not be aware of it. The result can be positive or negative. I have loved to paint since my childhood. It is intrinsic to me, to my existence. I put my life experiences and teachings on canvas in a surreal abstract rhythm.
