Painting. Oil on Belgian linen, wood stretcher bars, steel wire and hooks, gallery wrapped painted edge, signed on front and back, varnished, original. Inspired by the walks on the beach just after a storm and Turner. Painted in the old masters technique of building up with textured layers of opaques and transparent glazes to get beautiful depth and shimmering colour. This painting has a strong emotional energy as I only paint when very charged and passionate about the subject, this is what I hope you will respond too.
