Can you see my silence? Painting

My art practice is concerned with exploring the themes of female mental experience, the female body, femininity and my unconscious drawings. My artworks examine the relationship between the female body and its emotional experience (presenting its physicality and dynamics) through drawings and text (metaphorical statements) engaging embroidery, textile and paint as medium. My quarantine diary embodies the reflection of my intangible mental experience, during the lockdown and my self-isolation, and its interconnection with my physical body. I question how isolation impacts a female’s mental health and body transformation.
