The vase was actually the inspiration behind this painting. I love the colors, the coolness and vibrancy of it all, and the design element. I hope the viewer sees this as easy on the eyes. Comforting, simple yet serene. My medium is oil because it is so forgiving, its thickness and wetness and depth of color. Oil is King.
