Painting: Oil, Acrylic, Ink, Enamel on Canvas, Wood.
Like the ebb and flow of tides, the natural fluidity of paint mixtures seeks the lowest point, reacting and creating chaotic patterns and diacritic effects.
Like pours, the life the paint represents drifts and colonises. It goes with the flow of the tides, but is opportunistic in it’s quest for survival. It breathes new life into decaying driftwood, which when beached is like a fork showing a glimpse of what’s hidden in the ocean’s soup.
