It's a simple work, because I was concerned about the idea of a unique motif as a symbol. This element can be viewed in many ways: as closure, inaccessibility, but also as a challenge. We often end up in hostile situations that produce various reactions in us. The fact is, there's a confrontation going on. Most often it tells us something about ourselves, about our positioning towards life, about our philosophy, about spiritual acquisitions up to that point, about what can be improved. The role of such attempts, after all, is a generous one if we think they can teach us something all the time. Once that is understood, someone might be capable of love for such things. Things that at some point could be considered elevation decks of the inner self to a higher stage of refinement. So, what's a lock going to say? The work is painted in acrylic on soft material and will be sent rolled into a tube. It doesn't have a frame. It can adapt its framing with the interior style in which it will be put.

I am an artist who deals with the theme of emotions in achromatic or monochrome images, in styles such as abstract expressionism, Impressionism, realism, minimalism and others. The human figure, realistic or transformed, the objects of nature or those invented, all have symbolic value for these states. The lack of color requires a radical asceticism, an austere simplicity in an exuberant sensory world. A reduction in noise, waste of color and easy anecdotes, which invite to meditation and re-examination of the world around us. The sublimation of subtones and valuing insignificant details and undesirable objects, but which are linked to the forgotten essential, all creates a world upside down, that questions. Pointing to values such as compassion and empathy which pay attention to the misery of the world, its sadness, its loneliness, the dumbing of the voice, the lack of freedom and so on.
