"Chartreuse": The color that makes my heart skip a beat...and when combined with my other favorite color- sublime! Did you know, it was named because of its resemblance to the green color of a French liqueur called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764? Oil paints were used to create this painting, and the 1.5 in. sides are painted purple. The painting arrives wired and ready to hang vertically. My signature is on the lower right. A certificate of authenticity is included.

I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history. Art has become an important part of my life to nourish, heal and connect with my intuition and what I need spiritually to share with others.
