About The Artwork

This painting illustrates our (inner) couple in harmony, when the feminine and the masculine bond together into a blossoming relationship and create the roots and balance for a new home, a new family, or anything they came on Earth to create together from a place of Love. This painting belongs to a serie expressing we are not separate from Nature, we are part of it. The reflexion invites the viewer to observe we are all mirroring each others, and certain people have a special soul connexion. The shape of the body of the woman is inspired by Magritte's work. For this piece the artist used thin layers of oil painting (glazing) for the reflexion on water, and thicker layers on top for the floating flowers

"I believe in the healing beauty of Nature and Arts. » Cæsiliæ is a French painter currently based in Berlin and specialized in oils. Her large scale spiritual paintings open a window to other realms through luminous reflections, portrait of women and floating flowers on water, displaying a visual dance of light and feelings. Her work appears in several private and public collections around the world and it has been featured several times in curated selections by international galleries and charity organizations dedicated to Women and the Environment. Cæsiliæ comes from her second name, Cecilia, which means blind, fortunate or secret in Latin. In addition, Saint Cecilia (230 AD) was the saint for poets and musicians. Each artwork is unique and signed at the front or at the back by the artist.
