In the modern world, those who have switched to smartphones are vinyl records, paper books. The author's works are often combined into one scheme and complement each other. The formation of Catherine as a person and as an artist was influenced by such people as David Bowie, Joseph Brodsky, Vladimir Nabokov, Marc Chagall, Andrei Tarkovsky and others. At the beginning of her career, Ekaterina was engaged in botanical painting, but after a while her priorities and interests changed. But she also uses plant objects in her artwork. Ekaterina does not have specific genres in which she works, she believes that in contemporary art you can try and use all available methods and techniques of work, without limiting yourself to certain frameworks. Most of her work is done in watercolors, she also creates paintings with acrylics and uses a mixture of techniques and materials.
