About The Artwork

Artwork done for the competition VK Talents on the given topic "My page".The participants were tested on the consequences of the personal experience of the presence of a modern person in the network. This work is based on the phrase of Hippocrates “You are what you eat”. While working on the painting, I was thinking about how information from people we observe on the Internet influences us. And how our own content affects our friends and acquaintances. And in general, can we filter visual and audio noise and let only important things into our world?Probably, the answers to these questions will be different for everyone. The most important thing is to think at least sometimes about the influence , that we surround ourselves and impact other people. October 2021 Collective exhibition of the VK Tavents project "My Page" in the Museum of Contemporary Art "Erarta", St. Petersburg.

I was born in Saratov, Russia. I’ve been drawing since before I can even remember. In elementary school, my art teacher noticed my skill and invited me to an arts studio. After High school, I knew I want to pursue drawing and for the next four years of my life I studied in an art academy. When I graduated from the Saratov Art Academy. A.P. Bogolyubova in 2009 , I began working as a stained glass painter. Later I changed the course of my art career and began commercial photography which I did for 6 years. Still , I knew that my true passion was painting and after much thought I moved to St. Petersburg to get inspired by the timeless beauty of this regal city. There I continued my education of painting and drawing while found a multitude of small jobs on the side and occasionally doing custom paintings, or just painting for my pleasure. From January 2021, I’ve been exclusively painting. I like to paint unusual Stillives in oil, such as the transparency of the glass, the liquid in the jars and the light, that gives beautiful reflections. I like to show the simplicity of the objects, that I paint without unnecessary details in all my works, even in the portraits
