About The Artwork
This is the first "nightscape" of a metropolis I ever did. I was sent to Warsaw for business reasons and while walking to the city I immediately decided I wanted to do a painting of it - I arrived there at 9 PM and Warsaw train station is right behind the first building on the left in the painting. Then the atmosphere matched very well the feelings I had while listening to the song "Judgement" by Anathema (I heard it for the first time in 2005, so it took only 13 years to find a subject that was well fitting). Hence the title.
