About The Artwork

The human struggle against Covid 19 was the concept that inspired this work. I created an image that reveals all the angst of lockdown syndrome in the facial expression of the Paintings subject as she struggles to bend back the bars of her lockdown confinement and escape to a normal life again. Viewers can reflect on how they are dealing With their own version of the Syndrome and its effects.
