Creek Crossing Painting

In this painting I wanted to capture the mood of a creek meandering it's way through a dense green forest. I added the bridge because for me it represents Paintbrush Odyssey, the journey I'm on. Perhaps others who view this painting will realize that they are on a journey as well. And what does this journey represent? I can imagine that each road is just as unique as each person who travels it. For me, it's the challenge. Am I ready to accept the challenge of something new? Am I prepared to cross that river, and head off to a place I've never been before? For me, the journey is about taking steps of faith, one step at a time. It's trusting that God will be there for you, helping you to grow as you discover new things about life, about yourself.
