About The Artwork

Charleston SC is famous for its rich old world architecture, history, and a wide variety of activities for all ages. Downtown Charleston is best seen by taking a carriage ride and seeing the historical sights while hearing the history told by carriage drivers that have been educated and trained. This painting shows a view of a horse drawn carriage passing by the ‘Market’ on the corner of East Bay Street and Market Street. I think every visitor to Charleston passes by this location at some time during their stay. The Market is where you will find the perfect souvenir.
