Take a piece of garden to your favorite space with this flower. Get a more natural and welcoming environment with this hand-drawn watercolor painting. Its colors and its display of petals will fill you with energy. I painted this flower in my studio, after visiting a friend's garden. The dahlia stood out among all the flowers. First I made an outline with graphite pencil, highlighting the finishes with watercolor pencil. Very suitable for small spaces or to decorate with paintings of different sizes. I recommend passpartout in the framing to create an air gap between the paint particles and the glass. Coarse grain watercolor paper. Author’s signature: Lower right angle.

Hello! I am Celedonia Ramón, a Spanish visual artist who works and lives in Seville. I love experimenting with all the themes and techniques, although the ones I use most are acrylic and watercolor. Observing my works, what characterizes them the most are their contemporary style, light and the force of color that I express in them. I am inspired by human relationships, experiences, passion, all the beauty and energy of life. I think that there is already enough pain on the and I do not want to reflect it in my works. Looking around I always find a reason to paint, natural light in any open space, colors, which makes me feel certain music, a reading or movie that has impacted me or exhibitions of other paintings that I have seen. My intention is to leave a legacy of paintings that touch people’s lives , INSPIRING THEM, help them express their personality, improving their quality of life and their space. For me, art is like life: ”the expression of creative energy through me. It is to give back to the world the gift of creativity with self-knowledge, purpose and sense of unity ”. They are important to me: works with good technique, a process of I work that respects the environment, and that knows how to transmit the emotions that I have painted. The progress of my paintings (and myself) keeps me anxious to know where it will take me. I am always in “student mode”, experimenting. I really like to paint subjects related to the sea, because it makes me feel freer and more alive, it instinctively calls me, without having a special bond. I paint it in my studio, from my own travel photos, and other times outdoors. Normally I paint with natural light and I tend to be more concentrated in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon, so I take advantage of the hours when more light enters my studio. Depending on the size of the work and the technique to be used, I can take between 2 or 3 days if it is a large canvas,100 x 100 cm for example, or if it is watercolor on small or medium size paper, a day or two .
