About The Artwork
This artwork is the continuation of "On the crest of the wave" painting. Being on a crest of the wave means that we've reached the highest peak and now we've got it all. On one hand it gaves us a sense of satisfaction and excitement, it's a moment of happiness. At the same time waves bring from the bottom what was previously hidden. Symbolically it can mean that success (when we are on the crest of the wave) raises also our hidden fears and emotional problems from inside. We are not sure if the challenge is not to big for us and we can feel unsecure. Each of us has own internal world that could be hidden untill the certain moment. So this painting is about all the hidden things from the bottom - the good ones but also the bad ones. __________________ Paiting size 50x60 cm Mounted on a stretcher frame, is reday to hang on the wall.
