Dancing in the snow Painting

Ana Kandsmar is an emerging writer and artist in Portugal. She started painting as a hobby when she was very young and has only been devoting herself to painting full-time for the last five years. She classifies herself as a naive painter, as she is self-taught, although she has attended several painting and drawing courses. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in a number of Portuguese galleries, especially in municipalities that support art. She works mainly with canvas and acrylics, but she likes to add textures to her work, so many of them include clay pastes and silicones. Decorative art, with great attention to decorative detail, including, for example, gold leaf, are among the choices of materials she often uses in her work.
