ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dark Flight is a textural, active painting. Using a base layer of paper applied to the canvas creates a unique texture to paint on. Then splatters of blacks and gold. Followed by layers of acrylic paint that are thinned and allowed run, creating the sense of flight/soaring. The texture and color wrap around the sides, allowing the work to be hung without the need for framing. Yet would look great framed as well, at your discretion.

Creating works that are less confined and open to interpretation. Mainly concentrating in abstract art. Mixed media is an oversimplified definition, with the use of different materials and acrylics to create paintings that are textural and inquisitive.
