About The Artwork
My mood inspired the work. I've suffered with chronic depression but feel that I'm reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. The white tips on the dark wave symbolise my improving mood and renewed hope in the future. I hope its viewers will feel that there is always hope even when there is darkness and that black eventually will turn to grey and then white. Depression doesn't have to last forever.
