This work was inspired by Biblical scripture. The first transgression of a divine command by humanity and the fall into sin, a punishment of expulsion from the garden and the first steps towards death - all a consequence of the deception that fell upon Adam and Eve by listening to the father of lies, the serpent. But about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, "You must not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.” Genesis 3:3 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4. The serpent deceived Eve and the ramifications of death and loss are seen unto this day. This image serves as a reminder to not fall into any manner of deception and know God is Truth.
