Born in 1970 in Johannesburg South Africa, Heather Crowther is an artist intrigued with the concept of transformation and the hidden symbolism found within. Working with elements that are rarely noticed yet play fundamental roles in shaping our known world, her Rust Drawings depict a fascination with turning something decaying into an everlasting depiction of deeper subliminal messages. While her paintings are influenced by nature and the Sacred Geometry that underpins all life in our universe. Most recently she has been published in the International Contemporary Arts 2011 Vol 2 & Vol 3 publications (New York), and took part in the Florence Biennale (Italy). For 2012 she is working on a solo exhibition to be held at the Brick Lane Gallery (London), another solo at the Kreater 2012 festival (Slovakia)and a group show at the Broadway Gallery (New York).
