About The Artwork
This artwork was inspired Keith Haring, Banksy and Jean Michel Basquiat. I grew up loving street art but not until recently with my new drawings and paintings has its influence seeped into my work. I love how freely I create these recent (Nov '23) drawings. Years of studying and working as an artist has led me to this point, where I feel comfortable using different styles and moving quickly from one direction or point on the piece to another whilst keeping the complete picture in mind. 'Dear Earth, Sorry About the Bombs' was created whilst listening to great music. I had a plan of where to start and just let the flow happen naturally. The black and white creates a strong, visual picture and close up you can really get lost in finding what motivs make up the whole piece. Look out for four leaf clovers, hourglasses, rivers, bridges and mountains.
