ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On the right side of the painting is a white, private wall that has the familiar signs of the wealthy. It appears as if the owners unloaded a number of belongings from the container and then discarded the container on the other side of the road. Of course, this is just a theory, but overall the physical beauty of the moment, and all of the colors drew me as much as the commentary about what to do with physical objects, once there value to us is gone

I was born in the city of Port of Spain in the southernmost Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, and grew up in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and European regions. I have citizenship from the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. I am of Lebanese and Celtic descent. As an artist my intent is for my audience to have experiences that are similar to how I perceive the world, intuitively rather than through word and thought. I make work that tends to include the interwoven threads of trauma, beauty, and magic. Currently my mountain studio is near the Indian Peaks Wilderness west of Denver, Colorado.
