About The Artwork

From Jennifers current and fourth series of paintings - The Deconstructed Image In a sense I seek to deconstuct and reveal the layers of images that often became lost through my focus of working towards a finished piece. This creating an understanding of the structural development of my work, both for myself and the audience. With these new works I aim to replace the depth created previously through layered painting. The different works can be presented side by side in series of 5-10 images that visually explain my process of constructing paintings. *as this painting is so large, it is not stretched onto a frame for delivery purposes..
