About The Artwork
Abstract art in gold, blue and white tones, inspired in the asteroid Demeter, the symbol of caring, nurturing and protecting aspect of the self according with astrology tradition, thus is related also with the crops, the fruits and nature. Demeter is part of the Space Gallery Collection, inspired in the outer space and its colourful, enigmatic and sparkly depths. It was made in acrylic, enamel, cooper and silver leaf, on pressed paperboard 2mm thick. Basic black frame included for protection of the piece, frame size: 26.5cm x 34cm x 1.5cm . I am an Industrial Designer from Bogotá, Colombia. My degree thesis about Fractal Geometry led me to develop a close observation to the natural forms, which have since been translated in my artwork, so my main themes go around the fractal geometry and the natural objects. My initiation in the bhakti-yoga studies since 2003, leading me to the search for the true beauty and the transcendence in the material world.
