I am inspired by the South Downs National Park and the Cuckmere, where I live. I try to immerse myself in the landscape and capture its essence in my paintings. If I can transfer my love of our countryside, nature and environment to the viewer and give them a sense of stillness and peace when they absorb my work, then I have succeeded in my aim.
