Disrarrangements is a series of eight small oil paintings on masonite. The artist stumbled upon the idea of a series after completing several paintings of geometric objects on paper. "I liked the compositions, but I felt this need to do something more with them. So I took a pair of scissors and cut the objects up. I then rearranged them on the ground and took a picture. I repeated the process several times until I reached a good stopping point. After I looked at the photos, I decided to create paintings based on them." The result is an array of colorful shapes floating in empty ochre space.
