The Rialto Theater in South Pasadena has been a cultural icon since my youth. Today it is closed and only occasionally used by the movie industry. I have memories of a plush date, live performance and too many Rocky Horror Show group follow alongs. This is one of many Rialto works, on of which is published on Saatchi and has sold. The good news is that a Los Angeles Developer is renovating the theater to its 1925 original looks. I am following this painting with a few more on the exterior and of the stage and unique interior.
