'Dissociation' speaks of the people of Madhes, the Southern plains of Nepal, who protested the local elections on the grounds of unequal treatment to them after the promulgation of the constitution of Nepal. At a protest in Saptari district, open gun fire by security officers killed 3 men and left 16 injured, which was a move against the international law. This added to the high tension in Madhes and this painting depicts the feelings of the people of Madhes and the kind of dissociation they lived with.
