33x22 inches on rolled canvas. Ships in a tube. 1 inch margin on all sides left for easy framing. Bengalis believe that their darling daughter Durga comes home to her parents during Durga Puja and hence the celebration takes place in a grand manner! Women celebrate the goddess and each other by lovingly applying vermillion as they feel empowered and joyful of their womanhood. This has been one of my favourite childhood memories to see my mother celebrating herself and now me doing the same, inspired my focus on the Goddess! I am currently painting a series on the Goddess and her power that I see in day to day women I meet. Check them all out on my Durga collection!
