ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original acrylic painting on canvas. It does not come ready to hang. The edges of the canvas are neatly painted so framing is optional. This piece was inspired by a very vivid dream that I had. I chose to use colours resembling a medieval painting pallette as I thought it would compliment the subject matter. I decided to use different fragments of the dream to create a new composition so that I could include every element of the dream in one go. So for example, the landscape in the background was the view out of the window in the actual dream. The horse was floating through the window and into the room.

Antoinette's paintings are considered 'naive' in style, drawing mostly on her imagination. Her work invites the viewer to enter into her sometimes surreal world of dreams and fantasy.
