About The Artwork
The conventional idea of looking at "something" presented at the center of a painting is inverted here. I want the viewers to realize the void that is the crack amidst a field of no-color can also be the dominating element of a piece of work. I want the gaze to be in conflict with itself, darting between the attention grabbing neon colors just at the periphery of the piece and the large field of infinite fine lines of cracks that is just beyond focus at a distance.
