El Proceso Painting

EL PROCESO is an ode to all the stages of creation. Those with more light and those with more darkness; all indispensable, all rewarding. This piece was born as the result translates. The same day, I was experiencing a struggle, a creative blockage (I was precisely at the first stage). I decided, to escape frustration, and that I should listen to Picasso "Si llegan las musas, que te pillen trabajando". I then began by describing my experience. I took pleasure in going through each stage, voluntarily and fiercely conscious. The lines are sharp and sincere, free. For me, the most remarkable thing about this work is the pleasure I felt, slowly, at each step. To allow myself, without running, without surrendering to frustration.
