"Elegant escape" is inspired mostly by my interests in Far Eastern painting and sculpture. The title suggests the ethereal and memory. My works combine expressive drawing, image-making, formal processes, and saturated color within my linear forms to produce disciplined, formal painting. This work is box framed and professionally crafted. It is hand made and oil rubbed wood. It is enclosed with plexiglass. The artwork is mounted on white ph balanced matt board within the framing. The exterior of the framing measures 35"h x 27"w x 2"d.
