Over the years, his practice has evolved from urban walls to canvas while maintaining the same energy, bold visual language and curiosity that defined his early work.
His current paintings combine influences from comics, urban culture, illustration and contemporary visual storytelling. Alongside fine art, he has worked extensively as a director and creator of animated music videos and multimedia audiovisual projects, bringing together traditional painting and modern digital media. For his innovative work in animation and music video direction, he has been nominated multiple times for prestigious visual and music video awards. His art has been presented in major cultural hubs including Bratislava, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, and Paris, and he continues to develop a distinctive body of original paintings from his studio in Slovakia.
In addition to his studio practice, Okánik has been a central force in shaping the region's urban art movement. He was the founder and owner of RESERVE07 Space (2014–2018)—the first dedicated street art gallery in Slovakia, located in the heart of Old Town Bratislava. For nearly four years, this space served as his permanent gallery where he continuously showcased his own original paintings. During this era, he also acted as a curator, organizing and hosting exhibitions for numerous prominent young local and international visual artists. His deep-rooted history in the culture also includes co-organizing and curating the pioneering international "Inspire Etage Gallerie" exhibitions in Bratislava back in 2006 and 2007, helping establish the post-graffiti movement on the local art market.
