About The Artwork
Painted as a study for a gallery show I had in 2017, the concept of Source & Reflection was one I spent a full year exploring. My journeys took me to the McDonald Observatory in West Texas to study the sun (source) and to study light in Marfa, Texas. Then to San Diego, Los Angeles, Colorado, New Mexico, and New York. This piece was painted on Arches 100% cotton cold-pressed watercolor paper. When you see this painting I hope it is a reminder to plug into Source through the elemental forces that guide our existence. The painting is actually 6.25 x 9" but the automated system won't allow for the half inch.
