Embroidered Hat Painting

A woman wears an elaborate hat of embroidered gold & copper flora & fauna. Birds of the same patterning flutter about, decorating the exotic hat. A bit mysterious and elegant her eyes are hidden in deep shadow, she has a slight smile on her face and is wearing an off the shoulder black dress. The background is a gradient of light to medium lavender. I am a nature enthusiast, and consider myself a "birder" in real life, and have been including images of birds in my work for over 20 years. This painting is on stretched canvas with 'raw' edges. In my opinion a wide ornate gold frame with patterning that coordinates with the painting would look fabulous. It is wired.
