About The Artwork
The increase of negative body image among women in our society led me to depict the opposite. Three women in touch with their femininity, appreciating what their body has to offer in terms of movement, and loving themselves regardless of their size. This painting will hopefully portray confidence and allow the viewer to be reminded of his/her own beauty. I chose watercolor on paper because it will depict the fluidity of the ladies' motion without restriction of edges and definite lines.
