TANJA WEIDENBÖRNER FINE ART Specializing in enamel paints and charcoal on canvas. Tanja Weidenboerner is an artist from Essen, worldwide unique in her own developed technique. She is specialized in enamel paints and charcoal on canvas. In only four years she is already to be found in the national and international art scene, and she is continuing to excite visitors of her exhibitions and social media platforms. She is constantly expanding her pool of fans and customers through her art, and by now, numerous of her works are hanging in private art-collections. On one hand, the growing fascination can be justified by her own developed one-of-a-kind technique with enamel paints, charcoal, graphite and pastel chalk on canvas, on the other hand, through the impactfull, strong portraits which eyes follow the visitor to every point in the room. She manages to effortlessly breathe life into her paintings. She succedes in doing so through many layers of her own style and technique of modelling the enamel paint with charcoal, graphite and pastel chalk, which makes the faces look realistic, but not in a way that her style can be called "Hyperrealism“. Knowingly, she lets parts of the picture be dominated by the enamel paint, which demands the depth- and 3D- capabilitys of the observer's eyes. In combination with the carefully developed textures, every one of her works developes an own and dynamic life of itself, which is further enhanced through the changing lighting on the surface itself. Tanja Weidenboerner's works are studies of contrast. She plays with light and shadow, with the contrast of noticable and indefinite interpretations. The paintings are based on thoughts, emotions as well as inner conflicts. Therefore people's gesture, facial expressions and character are her prefered and most suitable way of delivering her choice of motive. Her works are a combination of technical aptitude and years of expierence with her extraordinary textures create her unmistakable art. She visualizes the unspoken, touches many visitors of her exhibitions and inspires thoughts. This is due to the connections of the potraits with symbolic elements as well as the facial expressions which occupy a huge part of the room which you can hardly deprive yourself from.
